Haivision (formerly CineMassive) is pleased to announce that on April 28, 2015, it was awarded AS9003 certification. AS9003 certification is awarded to aviation, space, and defense organizations that have shown compliance with the Society of Automotive Engineers’ (SAE) requirements for inspection and test quality systems.
AS9003 evaluates a number of criteria to ensure that organizations serving the aerospace industry retain documented, implemented, and well-maintained quality control systems for all of their products. To gain certification, organizations must demonstrate effective testing and quality control processes for both vendor-sourced parts and parts manufactured in-house, as well as corrective procedures for eliminating nonconformance. Other areas of evaluation include supply-chain management, maintenance of measurement equipment, and process documentation.
