On July 19, 2016, we announced the expansion and remodel of our global headquarters in Atlanta. The motivation behind the project? Haivision Co-Founders David Minnix and Robert Kaufman believe that people do their best work when they’re inspired by the environment they work in. They wanted to create a flexible, collaborative work environment that would bring out the best in every member of our team.
We’re thrilled with the results, and we’re excited to share them with you! Check out some of the highlights of our new space below:
We love our Atlanta community and are proud that our renovation supports a neighborhood-wide adaptive-reuse initiative. Along with many of our neighbors in the Sweetwater Design District, we’ve converted an aging, once-empty warehouse into a beautiful new work-play space. The neighborhood’s conversion of industrial buildings into loft-offices has attracted many new businesses to the area, bringing new energy into the community.
Flexible, Open Layout
At Haivision, open collaboration between people and departments is a key part of our workflow and culture. Our new, open-concept office features flexible meeting spaces, whiteboard nooks, and strategically-placed work stations, creating an environment that encourages team members to share ideas and collaborate freely.
When planning the renovation, our team agreed that natural light was a must-have for the new office. Research has found that natural light does more than just boost morale: a recent study found a significant tie between workplace exposure to natural light and people’s overall health and productivity. Our new facility features floor-to-ceiling windows and numerous skylights, allowing generous natural light to spill into the space.
The expansion and remodel of the Haivision office has created a space where our team feels empowered to collaborate and do great work. We’re excited to see what the future holds for Haivision, and we hope that current and future employees will feel inspired every day when they walk into our office.
