The Tennessee Air National Guard is the air force militia of the State of Tennessee. Operating under state law, the Air National Guard preserves peace, order, and public safety. It frequently provides emergency relief during natural disasters, search and rescue operations, counter-drug operations, and more.
The Tennessee Air National Guard wanted to install a new, state-of-the-art visualization system that could display critical data from multiple systems in the facility. After evaluating a number of vendors, the ANG chose CineMassive to provide its new visualization solution. CineMassive was selected because of its proven expertise in delivering display solutions for 24/7 control room environments.
CineMassive engineered and installed a 8×3 curved LCD video wall for the Tennessee Air National Guard. The video wall’s curved mounting system optimized the available space and created an immersive effect, allowing all operators in the control room to clearly view the displays.
The visualization system was powered by an Alpha video wall controller connected to a matrix router. The two devices worked seamlessly as a single unit, allowing operators to route video sources from systems across the facility and display the content on the video wall.
Operators were able to control the system through a customized Touch Control interface. Touch Control’s user-friendly functionality provided an intuitive operator experience and minimized training time for first-time users. With Touch Control, operators could instantly select the content sources they wanted to view and display them across the video wall.
The new CineMassive video wall system allowed the Tennessee Air National Guard to unite all of its informational resources on a single platform and view critical data at full resolution. The system helped operators work collaboratively to protect property, peace, and public safety.
