The US Marshals Service (USMS) is a U.S. federal law enforcement agency that serves as the enforcement arm of the U.S. federal courts. Primary responsibilities of the USMS include the protection of court officers and facilities, judiciary operations, and fugitive operations.
The USMS planned to deploy a new visualization solution in its Arlington, Virginia operations center. The system would serve as a monitoring and control platform for critical operations and investigations.
The USMS selected CineMassive to design and build its new video wall system. CineMassive was chosen because of its wealth of experience in deploying mission-critical visualization systems for Federal, Defense, and Public Safety applications.
CineMassive designed and installed an LCD video wall in a configuration of 3×3 wall-mounted displays. The video wall’s brightness, high resolution, and wide viewing angle provided the precise visual experience that the operations center required. To meet the USMS’ demand for 24/7 reliability, the video wall was designed with redundant power supplies in every display.
The display system was powered by CineMassive’s Alpha video wall controller. The Alpha could accept signals from virtually any device and allowed multiple operators to push data to the video wall simultaneously. The Alpha controller also allowed operators to freely arrange content on the displays in real-time, enabling a more efficient and dynamic workflow.
To control the system, CineMassive provided Touch Control software, a simple touch interface that allowed operators to instantly push content to any zone on the wall. Touch Control’s intuitive functionality minimized operator errors and reduced training time for new operators.
The CineMassive video wall system provided the United States Marshal Service with a complete toolkit for real-time visualization. The system provided operators with enhanced situational awareness and user-friendly control, enabling more efficient incident response.
