The Alpha FX Core video wall processor is a multi-4K, IP-enabled controller that delivers extraordinary performance in both networked and traditional video wall environments. Supporting IP streaming as well as physical inputs and outputs, the Alpha FX Core lets users display and share video wall content across their network in real-time.

The Alpha FX Core is designed on a Windows 10 PC-based architecture. It leverages our proprietary FX Graphics Engine to deliver accelerated graphics, 3D rendering, and massive resolutions. Controlled with the Command 360 platform, the Alpha FX Core’s processing power, flexibility, and 24/7 reliability make it an ideal solution for a range of applications – including medium to large control rooms, data visualization centers, and more.

Processor Features

Multi-4K Capture & Display

The Alpha FX Core is fully 4K-capable, supporting up to 16 4K inputs and outputs or up to 16 4K IP streams.

Displays Virtually Any Content

The Alpha FX Core supports virtually any signal format, whether digital or analog, physical or IP. It accepts content from nearly any device, including PCs, tablets, cameras, cable boxes, and more.

High-Density Inputs & Outputs

A single, 4RU Alpha FX Core powers up to 48 HD displays (or 12 4K displays) and captures content from up to 16 HD (or 16 4K) HDMI sources. Additional inputs are available with expansion options.

Unlimited Content Source Duplication

This processor can duplicate a content source an unlimited number of times on the video wall without any loss of frame rate, allowing users to isolate and zoom into specific regions of content without losing sight of the big picture.

Native IP Encoding & Decoding

The Alpha FX Core encodes and decodes up to 64 video streams at once. This allows users to not only access and display content from anywhere on their network, but also encode and share their video wall to remote colleagues and display systems. Low-latency H.264 encoding and decoding ensures IP streams look as seamless as local input sources.

Multi-Video Wall Control

This single device has the power to drive multiple video walls at once, including systems built with different display types (LCD, LED, etc.) and aspect ratios. It allows users to control multiple video wall as a single display canvas or as separate systems.
