What products does Haivision MCS sell?

Our products include a full range of video wall displays, processors, accessories, and software.

How do we control the video wall?

Content across the video wall is managed through our own Command 360 software. Command 360 is browser-based and can be accessed through a workstation, tablet, or smart device. The user interface is designed to be accessible to all users regardless of technical expertise and requires no programming knowledge for advanced use.

What else might be included in a Haivision system?

Depending on the needs of your control room space, additional accessory devices may be included. We offer a variety of hardware components that help optimize workflows with your existing technology. Additionally, we also offer separate products to equip your system with VTC, audio, or conferencing capabilities as needed.

Can I see a demo your software?

Yes! We are happy to provide you and your team with a remote or in-person demo of our software. Our in-person demonstrations show, firsthand, how our Command 360 software drives content across a video wall. Our remote options allow you to be guided in a demonstration via a video conference call or through remote access with our software.

After receiving a guided tour of our platform, you’ll have a chance to take control and drive the video wall system yourself.

Do you offer touch interactive video walls?

Yes, we offer various options for touch interactive display systems including multitouch control. After evaluating your system requirements, we can offer our best recommendation for this functionality.

What makes a Haivision video wall panel different from a consumer display?

LCD video wall panels are professional grade displays that are designed to be tiled together in a large-scale display system. They offer much narrower bezels, greater brightness, and higher resolutions than consumer TVs. Video wall panels are also designed to provide superior reliability, resilience, and longevity than consumer displays.

What’s the difference between available display types?

LED and LCD displays are two distinct display types with differing technologies that offer distinct advantages and disadvantages depending on the type of control room you are building. See our “LCD vs. LED” blog article to learn more about these two display types and how they differ.

What is a video wall processor, and why do I need one?

The purpose of a video wall processor is to connect your content sources to your display system, enabling you to control what content is displayed, when and where it appears, and how it looks. A processor captures and aggregates signals from various local and IP based devices, allowing you to pull content sources onto the displays and freely arrange, scale, and adjust them in real-time.

In contrast, simpler solutions like matrix switches and scalers can only display one content source per screen and do not allow dynamic control, movement, or manipulation of content. These devices are also limited in their resolution, whereas many processors can display content at multi-HD resolutions.

With most contemporary video wall applications demanding high resolutions, flexible content placement, and real-time control, a video wall processor is often the preferred solution.

What is the typical lead time for a video wall project?

The lead time for a Haivision system depends on the size of the project but ranges from 4 weeks to 12 weeks from receipt of order. If you have a specific deadline for your project, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Can I install the system myself?

Haivision provides complete on-site installation and integration services for our technology. We strongly recommend that most customers use our in-house installation services to ensure an efficient, successful system implementation.

Can you train my team to install and support your technology downrange?

Yes. We understand that our defense and federal customers may be deploying our systems in sensitive, remote, or hostile environments that cannot be accessed by our installation team. For these customers, we offer complete, hands-on training and certification programs that prepare their teams to install and support our technology in the field.

Can you install my existing A/V equipment with a purchase of your products?

We can install and integrate many existing A/V components along with our own products. Please note that Haivision MCS cannot be held liable for the operational condition of your existing components.
